Wolveridge Architects is an architectural and interiors studio that has generated international acclaim for its highly considered projects and how they integrate with their environments.
Wolveridge are passionate about exploring ideas surrounding context and how it can inform the design response. As a result the studio has completed numerous critically acclaimed commercial and residential architectural projects across Australia.
The practice was first established at the turn of the century in Melbourne by its principal architect and director, Jerry Wolveridge. Jerry used his experiences travelling the globe to forge a studio that wasn’t bound by the traditional practices of Australian architecture.
The practice headquarters are located at the United Tannery and Boot Factory, a converted 19th century boot making factory in Collingwood, Melbourne’s inner city post-industrial precinct.
Wolveridge Architects retains a regional presence in Port Douglas, far north Queensland and are registered to practice also in Tasmania and Western Australia, meaning that the unique work of Wolveridge Architects can be observed nationwide.
Wolveridge Architects’ Canadian Bay Cabin is a home that defies expectation yet is grounded in the primal imperative of providing shelter.
