The owner was looking for a new bathroom and laundry, a kitchen and dining which opened up into the backyard and plenty of open spaces.
Architects at Jos Tan first considered demolishing the rear building to make way for a new addition. However, it became apparent that the available budget would fall short of this plant. Instead, the decision was made to retain as much of the existing brick structure as possible and pop out a small extension to the side.
