The Mila and Lily taps epitomise minimalist perfection.

Oliver designed the Wolff vanity with openness in mind in order to create a sense of space in even the smallest of bathrooms. With the option of either timber or concrete and adjustable brass legs to level any floor, the Wolff vanity’s robust materiality creates a compelling contemporary aesthetic. Similarly, the concrete Sepp basin, designed and made in collaboration with local concrete specialists Concrete Collective Melbourne, evokes a commanding presence atop the vanity unit, the design’s simplicity of form highlighting the strong materiality of concrete.

All pieces in the 2019 collection are designed to create a harmonious ensemble when combined with appropriate tapware that is not only tactile in the hand and functional in application but a design statement in its own right. The Lily taps are handcrafted from select grade Blackbutt timber, a material rarely found in tapware, while the Mila taps in marble contribute a minimalist luxury to the bathroom. The Elle is Wood Melbourne’s first hob mixer-style tap, designed in three handle styles of timber, concrete or marble to complement a range of different interior design aesthetics.

The Cape Barren outlet, meanwhile, is the result of a collaboration between Wood Melbourne and Archer_er architects. The two studios worked together to find a solution to the persistent imperative to find timeless, contemporary tapware that reads well with Australian architecture. The result is an elegant, slimline tap that will gracefully patina with age while effortlessly receding into the interior of the bathroom.
