Slabs By Design is a Sydney based studio, founded by Gina Chapman, that designs and produces polished concrete furniture for commercial and residential projects. Specialising in pieces that combine concrete with steel or reclaimed timber, the firm favour a clean and simple aesthetic and work primarily with a grey-white colour and tonal range. Gina Chapman, founder of SLABSbyDesign and design graduate from The International School of Colour and Design, says that she loves concrete and everything it has to offer. She believes the space that surrounds us needs to be inspiring, warm and comfortable. Furniture, lighting and custom pieces are available for purchase and can be seen on display at their Surry Hills showroom.
