Daniel Boddam’s Sydney based studio takes a holistic approach to design –they offer services in architecture, interiors and furniture design. With a focus on residential design, the studio offers extensive experience in bespoke and heritage-listed homes, residential developments and alterations and additions.
By embracing function and understanding context, the studio creates harmonious and elegant living spaces. Daniel himself is actively involved in every project the practice takes on to ensure that the studio philosophy of ‘considered simplicity’ is articulated consistently.
Running alongside Daniel Boddam’s studio is the furniture range called ‘Monument’. The Momument Collection focuses on natural materials and finishes. It is a tribute to the ‘considered simplicity’ concept of the architecture and interior spaces the studio creates for their clients.
A sense of adventure and love of the coastal northern-New South Wales landscape is at the heart of Daniel Boddam’s most recent work, which both encompasses furniture and architecture.
Daniel Boddam has transformed a humble Californian bungalow into a striking and luxurious tropical retreat in the prestigious Sydney suburb of Mosman.
The concept for the Gallery House was to declutter the interiors, paving the way for a calm and tranquil environment that functions as a gallery space.
This project draws inspiration from the surrounding nautical environment whilst responding to the existing classical architecture in a modern way.
Rather than going against the existing character of the house, Daniel Boddam decided to work with it, producing a masculine blend of modern Spanish luxury.

This cliff top residence is north–east facing with unprecedented ocean views & incorporates principles of sustainability.
The building’s new intricate steel windows and honest expression of the timber trusses enhance the existing charm.
The architectural language of this project celebrates the local vernacular style in a modern and playful way.
Solids, voids and cantilevers break up the pure form of the house making it more tactile and dynamic, allowing natural light into the interior.
Daniel Boddam was commissioned to redesign this project to create a sensitive addition that compliments the architectural style of the house.
