Wyrie Dining Table
The Wyrie dining table is a true statement piece.
The table was designed by multi-disciplinary Melbourne furniture designer Nick Rennie. Nick had previously worked overseas and collaboratively with Creative Director Thomas Coward on a number of projects.
The Wyrie is without parallel in the market and is true testament to the beauty of strength on Elba™ stone. Three separate pieces of precise Elba™ slabs have been united to form a stunning dining table.
A slim rectangular table top rests upon two uniquely angular bases, described as boomerang’s by designer Nick Rennie.
The inherently durable table creates a powerful presence in any space and can comfortable seat six to eight people. Customers can also get in touch regarding custom sizes that are made to order.
The New Volumes Collection 01 – Elba™
The first New Volumes™ collection by Artedomus comprises of twelve uniquely beautiful furniture pieces born from a desire to inspire and enhance the everyday.
Each of the twelve New Volumes pieces have been created from the coveted Elba™ stone.
Millions of years in the making and excavated exclusivley by Artedomus from a single quarry in Greece, Elba™ is an immensly powerful raw material that commands respect.
In order to harness the sophisticated beauty of the Elba™ stone, Artedomus assembled a team of Australia’s finest furniture designers and creatives.
Lead by Creative Director Thomas Coward, the eight Australian designers chosen to bring the first New Volumes collection to life are Ross Gardam, Emma Elizabeth, Nick Rennie, Dale Hardiman, Marsha Golemac, Sarah King and Tom Skeehan.
When asked about the inspiration behind the New Volumes™ range, Artedomus Managing Director Phil Brenton states, “Our story begins here and stems from our travels and connections across the globe, through which we identified an untapped volume of story and space”.
Phil goes on to expand, “New Volumes was the idea born out of this void and has become a way for us to express ourselves through people, design, materiality and stories”.
