From heliostat technology to operable roofs and doors, this event will highlight the opportunities for architects to collaborate with industrial designers. Demonstrating how collaboration can realise an architect’s potential beyond the limits of traditional construction methodology and drawing on local and international examples, this event details how the collaborative relationship can be fully explored and maximised.
About the presenter: Lecturer Tim Phillips has a special interest in sustainable and environmental design and has worked on a broad range of projects including architectural installations, developing materials handling equipment, specialised machinery and environmental and green energy solutions. He is a lecturer at both Newcastle University and UTS.
