About

The talk will include guests Byran Davis the Employment Precinct Planner, Fishermans Bend Taskforce and former Senior Advisor to planning minister, Maria Rico the Economic Development City of Moreland and Sean Sammon the CEO of Bastion S&GO.

The talk will be centred around the idea that the The decentralised nature of the new economy is increasingly impacting the capacity for effective communication between industry and government. In the days of Holden & Ford, big business had the capacity to dedicate teams to working with government to ensure needs were understood and ultimately met. With the new economy increasingly defined by small and medium-sized business we are faced with the need to more effectively centralise the conversation and reinstate channels of communication so that government can better engage with, understand and support business. Particularly those businesses who encapsulate purpose-driven motives.

Join the guests at the Collective Exchange, as they explore how both sides can more effectively engage to enable better outcomes for all
